Be interesting to see if Zizou starts one of Isco or James in midfield. Game changed when Isco was brought on. Modric and Kroos, especially Kroos, were too passive going forward when Wolfsburg was sitting back. It's a waste to sit Casemiro behind them if Kroos is going to be a passive bitch and Modric is just going to dribble around in circles for 30 seconds just to play a 10 yard square pass at midfield.

This collection of players has always had trouble breaking teams down. I thought that Zidane actually did a pretty decent job. He stuck Bale wide to the left sideline pretty early and seemed to encourage Kroos and Modric to move into what little space was created. They just executed poorly, and Danilo didn't really execute at all.
Previous managers would have left Bale and Ronaldo inverted then watched Marcelo hit 30 crosses to Naldo and Dante without doing anything.
