Link to USMNT game thread, but here's the other action for the day.
All Times CDT
CONCACAF
Penultimate round of matches before the hex. Top two in each group advance.
Group A
Honduras - Canada, 4 p.m. (NBC Universo/beIN Connect 3; beIN at conclusion of USA game)
El Salvador - Mexico, 9 p.m. (beIN/NBC Universo)
-Mexico has qualified as group winners. Putos. Anywho, Honduras-Canada will go a long way toward deciding second place, but it will be Matchday 6 before anything is official.
Group B
Haiti - Costa Rica, 7 p.m. (beIN)
Panama - Jamaica, 8:30 p.m. (Telemundo Deportes)
-A point will be enough for Costa Rica to advance, and victory assures them top spot in the group. Panama can also secure a berth in the Hex with a win at home against Jamaica, who need a result to stay alive.
Group C
St. Vincent & the Grenadines - USA, 2:30 p.m. (beIN)
Trinidad & Tobago - Guatemala, 6 p.m. (NBC Universo)
-A USA win and Guatemala defeat at T&T will assure both the USA and T&T a spot in the Hex. Any other combination of results means the USA cannot qualify for the Hex until Tuesday's game against T&T in Jacksonville. First place means we open the Hex at home against Mexico. Second place means we open at home more than likely against Costa Rica.

Canada has it's work cut out for them. With the 2-1 loss to Honduras, they need to make up 3 points and 5 GD on the last day.

It's improbable, but possible with Canada getting El Salvador at home and Honduras playing Mexico

One-way traffic for the Guats right now. T&T can't get out of their own half.

Goal Guats. Was always coming.

We should beat T&T at home, but I don't want them having any motivation to push for 3 points. Their defense is shaky, but they have some decent attacking players. Kenwyne Jones is legit. Cordell Cato has been a solid MLS player for a while.
On the other hand, a good test can't hurt once in a while.

Nice equalizer just before halftime.

Nah. Watching on NBC Universo. Check NBC Sports app. I don't pay any extra to have the channel.

A draw wouldn't be the worst thing. Would give us a +12 GD over Guatemala.

I feel bad for Canada. Their fans are so loyal, and they constantly get let down. That'll be 8 straight cycles they don't qualify now. Honduras is their kryptonite.
When's the last time Canada even made the Hex? I know their last (and only) World Cup was Mexico 86, and they benefitted tremendously from Mexico being an auto-qualifier that cycle. Then they lost all 3 matches.
I know soccer isn't a big sport in Canada, but you'd expect them to be much better than they are.
