Deluded I may be, but when United are afraid to attack Liverpool in a northwest derby, with the most expensive team in the world
Sound similar to BR September 2015 at OT
except we got a point and you got smashed 3-1.

By the same token, the tameness of liverpools attack along with limited chances to show despite the possession statistics is not what I expected from a pool team at home, much less a Klopp coached team at home.
Looking forward to more of the same.

I should also be clear, I've never ciriticized Jose's tactics. I'm just baffled at United fan's acceptance of those tactics. And that's solely based on the preaching and overtures I've had to endure from their fans since I was a child watching these teams play. All those lectures I've had on the "proper" way to play - the "united" way to play.
The majority of United fans are wanting results first, then actually grow as a team and improve the football. Klopp has had this Liverpool team for a year Jose has had United for a few months. We didn't see Klopp really taking shape until the end of last year. That Europa league first leg was Liverpool playing United off the park.

Well good thing he's in Scotland now, right?

It'll happen when you're playing against a 6-3-1.

Exactly their anti United circle jerk blinds them to their own awful performance last night. We passed circles around their press during the first 45mins. They didn't even look bothered until Lallana came on.

It wasn't even close to 6 3 1 and you know it. But hey, don't let facts get in the way of your narrative.

Decent point. If Jose ends up molding this team into more like his Chelsea squads of the past, then I'll be very wrong. We'll see soon enough.

The formations and tactics he has used besides last night are more like his first stint with Chelsea than his second one. Even last night wasn't parking the bus. For the last 30 mins it was keep the game congested in the mid field.
If he gets United playing that 4-3-3 with a holding mid like he did his first go around with Chelsea basically blitzing teams on the counter and have that holding mid pick teams apart, things will be just fine.

Facts? Where did you offer facts?

The picture fits your narrative but is no where close to what happened most the match. Young and Rashford were flying up and down the wings and we both know it.

I mean no one bothers to go watch City on a tuesday, wednesday or thursday (when you were Europa regulars)
Whats the point of good football if no one bothers to watch it?

It is hilarious how easy it is to rile up the United posters
But yeah, I don't know why the frick you think I care about this. I'm a fan and always will be, whether or not the stadium is half empty or not. I don't live there, likely never will. But I enjoy the team, I enjoy supporting the players and I find it a lot of fun being a team with high expectations that often falls flat.
You can constantly berate me for the team's lack of support, but do you really think I, a random fan in Texas, gives a shite when there's nothing I can do about it?

You open yourself up to the shots trying to troll on the Liverpool side of this debate. Esp talking about League Cups, which City are specialist in since 2008
