Yea there was no adjustment when it was clear Sevilla were not going to attack. All those shots they had were from outside the 18 ending up in the stands. They literally would win the ball play it up near the 18 shoot it not even close, or win the ball get about 25 yards from our goal and play it backwards.

Will be interesting to see how we come out at the weekend. Need to come out angry and smash Brighton.

Hopefully Jose lets the team open up and play the rest of the year bc the remaining matches other than City are not difficult. Finish 2nd with 80+ points win the FA Cup and carry some momentum into next year.

But on to next year, there will be some serious shuffling of players this summer. We need to talk about the ins and outs.

Blind - Good player, fan favorite, but hes gone. No height or pace and not set position. He wants to stay bc he turned down a move away during the winter.

Darmian - He's gone, solid defensively but offers nothing going forward. if you want to play real counter attacking football, the fullbacks have to be able to get up field and over lap. Much like City have shown this year.

Carrick - Is hanging them up, nothing else to say
Afroman - Won't sign a new deal, probably leaving on a free. Glad he will be gone. At the end of the day he does not have the quality expected of a United player.

Zlatan - We love him but hes gone.

Jones - Always hurt, too many wtf moments, Jose likes him so maybe he goes on loan to get a real run of games.

Smalling - Solid, but i think he maybe has one year with United. Still no confidence with the ball at his feet. Will probably get lost in the CB rotation if he doesn't step up next year.

Rojo - signed a new deal

Shaw - staying, eventually will be the #1 LB
Young -staying, probably gone in two years.

Herrera - staying but he needs to start fighting for a place in the team.

Now for players we need.

Another CB, esp a ball playing one who is comfortable with the ball at their feet. Victor still is taking time to adjust to the EPL which is expected. Do we make a play for Toby since he will only has a year left on his contract. Or does TFM or Tuanzebe come in and fill the CB role.

Another CF or Striker. So many options out there i don't know where to start.

CM - I hope we make a push for Toni Kroos, def would be the glue to hold the midfield together.

There are currently 3 left wingers and one pure striker to call on. Mata is just ok on the right and in the middle, and Lingard is in the same boat only offering different qualities. Lukaku is clunky, Rashford and Martial aren't getting the minutes they need, and Alexis is a worthless addition.

UTD are so far behind on quality in the attack that I cannot see them being competitive at the highest level without either wholesale changes or the addition of a Bale or Kane. I prefer Bale based on needs and would move De Gea to get him at this point, chance creation is fricking dire and adequate keepers are obtainable.

Next I'd clean house of every pussy in the club who gets a small tweak and acts like putting in a shift is too much to ask. If it's the docs holding them out I'd fire them too, I think about Fergie and all of the warriors who took the pitch for him and I get absolutely sick of the soft and smug shite that I see from these instagram twits.

Will be interesting with Perrera coming back. He can play on either wing but he is a true #10. He has to force his way into the first team.

Every time I see Scholes talking about the club on television he looks like he is about to puke. I feel the same, the culture in and around the club has changed for the worse and the style of play is wholly unattractive and has been for years.

frick him tbh if you can’t break into THIS squad as an attacker then you are not good enough for Man Utd.

Also I know it’s not politically correct to say but they should focus on finding proper lads like McTominay to serve as role playing contributors and developmental projects. Players who fit the traditional style of the club and not some multinational and multilingual clusterfrick that nobody can relate to or even understand!

Do you think Mou is the manager to get the best out of Pogba? When he plays in a midfield 2, I think he's being used really poorly.

Two man midfield won't work until Pogba has some self discipline and learns positional awareness in that role.

Depending on how the summer goes and getting another CM and securing the back four we might go to a 3 man midfield for good.

Per United Facebook

Marcos Rojo has signed a new deal until June 2021, with an option for another year: "Being here has been everything I thought it would be and more."

imo thats a good thing

He’s probably the best CB we have with the ball at his feet. Being injured took out the rotation and he’s a bit reckless but nice to keep him around.

So about Jose's 12min rant today

he does have a point but using the word heritage was probably a bad choice.

Unlike many, I actually like Jose. Mainly because I think he's fricking hilarious. And also because I've seen him in videos and pictures interacting with the public and in those he strikes me as being very nice and personable.

I would *not*, however, want him as the manager of my team because I am not a fan of his football system, style, and philosophy.

He plays attacking football when he doesn’t see the opposition as a threat

Until he has a defense he can trust he won’t open up away from home vs a top 4 side

I know the team was deflated from midweek

But a majority of that match was flat and uninspiring

Jose even saying he didn’t like that game. You could see him telling the players to push forward.

Lukaku is putting the team on his back 25 goals by March, good return on the investment.

Jose is pissed in this post match interview
