Since the common American sports fan sees "soccer" and they jump to promotion/relegation, I figure this is the only place that might know both college football, and that promotion/relegation isn't the only thing European football does.

Basically, I've been working on pet project that tries to develop a UEFA coefficient for college football to determine which conference is the best. Essentially after a couple years of boring television and a spreadsheet and I came up with something like this:

Then based on conference rank, it would then attempt to give favorable seeding/bowl locations, to the stronger conferences, so you'd end up with something like this:

And then for everyone else that didn't make the playoff but was still bowl eligible, they would go to the "Europa League" and help their conference ranking, and ultimately their possible favorable seeding for next year. I think it would really save Bowl Season.

Besides why not, all you have there is a playoff. With the Top 12 teams mind you. The AAC wouldn’t have two teams in when the Big 12 or PAC only have one.

The biggest issues with transferring over a Champions League:
It rewards teams for having a good team last season. Most CFB teams can see huge changes from missing key players.
It runs simultaneously with the Seasons, so we will probably have to dump rivalry games for “great matchups”.
