George Soros has purchased a good chunk of the club.


Watch him sell short...

He has brought down more than a couple currencies. A football club should be no problem.

Thank God it's only 8%.

The comments are ridiculous... "Manchester United just lost a loyal fan because of him." Wow. It ain't great, but that's a tad bit ridiculous.

I don't think the 8% number is correct. I'm reading he invested $44 million, which would fall way short of 8% of the value of MUFC. He probably snapped up 8% of the Class A shares that were available during the IPO.
