The goal was a great play. Good pass/run/finish from Shelvey and a Downing did well to pick he head up and find Jonjo

Complete dominance in the midfield. Johnson and Robinson have Udinese pinned back in their own half. Brilliant tactics to play Allen and Johnson. Udinese can't get into the match.

My only complaint, which could also be tactics against their formation, but we still look too content to play through the wings in the final third and just put in a cross. Still need time to gel with making good runs in behind the back line and combining through the middle.

Mistake by Glen Johnson. Downing nowhere in support. We seem vulnerable at the start of every half till we settle down and dominate possession.
