Had a bad feeling when we couldn’t turn that opening 20 minutes into a lead

Of course I couldn’t avoid spoilers. The first thing I did after sitting down at little mot’s game was check the score. I’m glad I did so I didn’t watch the entire second half for nothing. Like I said at half it just never had the feeling of a Leeds goal.

The next few weeks are going to be tough. We’ll probably know on New Years Day afternoon whether the next few months are going to be interesting chasing down auto promotion, or just a few extra months dreading the pressure of the inevitable playoff.

Thing that sucks is that if Leeds were in the champo last year they would be top with the 41 points they have collected so far.

Just the fact Ipswich and Leicester have had such a blazing start that makes this feel not as good as it should. And if Leeds wouldn’t have had so much upheaval this summer I bet they would have collected another 4-6 points in August putting them right in the mix of top two.

Oh well still a long way to go, going to try and not look at the table until the new year.

Looking at Leeds fixture list they have a very favorable run of matches from Jan-Mar

Yea that slow start where everything was unsettled with ownership and we couldn’t make key signings really held us back. Hopefully we can make up for it in January.

Even the four points dropped against Wednesday and Rotherham would make a big difference right now.

Brenden Aaronson could now return to Leeds United early from his loan spell at Union Berlin after failing to make an impact. Aaronson made the season-long-loan move to the Bundesliga side in the summer following Leeds’ relegation, but has arguably struggled more than he did at Elland Road.
