La Selección- Uruguay Friendly in Qatar Call Up

No Torres, no Soldado. Negredo, yes.
Azpilicueta and Isco, called up.
Said Michu deserves a spot, but he just can't find where to create one for him. Said he feels really bad, about not being able to give either him (Michu) or Iago Aspas, a call up.

There were talks on Swansea twitter that Chico Flores might get one, did he?

He should have given one of the stars a break and called Michu up. I've been really impressed with him.

not sure if he left javi out on purpose, but i'm really glad he isnt playing. he's finally got his legs under him and starting to play really well. after the winter break he was quoted as saying something to the effect of "i havent had two weeks off in over 4 years." im expecting him to start producing consistently at a high level now.

Javi isn't Spanish.
Also, Aduriz deserves a call-up.

Don't bring your crazy into here. Navarre is in Spain whether or not you want to say the Basque aren't Spanish.

Being that Spain still controls Euskal Herria, Spain. He's 4th in goals scored this season in La Liga. He's also got 7 in 7 for Euskal selekzioa.

Martínez
Possibly the most common surname in Spain, so much so, it's not clear where it originated.
His mother may be Navarran, possibly Basque, on at least her father's side.
Like I said, nice try.

quote:You stupid frick. Define this area. You will step in a trap once again, as you will probably mention:
Euskal Herria
-Vizcaya
-Navarra, a former Kingdom
-Álava, part of Castille / Spain since the 1300's or earlier.
-Guipúzcoa, part of Castille / Spain since the 1100's.
Vizcaya is your only official answer, and a huge percentage here, are modern day implants from Castille, Aragón and Andalusia. I think you now understand their quandary.
