There is a Spain since 1469 class you could take. Also Dr. Henderson teaches a Chinese and Japanese religion class that I recall was rather easy. Dr. Zanasi, Dr. Dietz, Dr. Pirbhai, and Dr. Marchand were also incredible history professors.

I told you. They are more Galician than Asturian however (they would have never told you that, but it´s true).

He has Parkinson's, poor man, and he is has to be the kindest person i know. He taught an opera class some time back and it was hilarious to hear him sing. He could sing in Polish, German, Mandarin, Italian and Japanese. Brilliant man.

We watched a huge amount of Asian operas. He would always sing to us. Poor guy misplaced like half the class' exams one time. He apologized countless amounts of times. He felt so guilty, but I'm pretty sure we all felt even worse for him.
ETA Damn. That Spain class coincides with Problems in Political Philosophy, which I am too excited about to drop. Gotta keep looking

mine is belle de jour. favorite film ever, actually.
second is the discreet charm of the bourgeoisie.
both of those are in the upper-echelon of my film rankings
next tier for me is viridiana, the exterminating angel, the milky way (though i'm not sure it's of the quality of the others, as a person raised in a strictly religious household who has strayed from that, its mockery of organized religion yet clear affection for people who follow it is impressive to me. struck a personal chord), nazarin, and that obscure object of desire. love all of these
next tier, enjoyed all of these, but not quite as much: diary of a chambermaid, tristana, and l'age d'or, though the last i feel i wasn't able to fully appreciate because it had some very specific references to what was going on in spain at the time.
i enjoyed death in the garden, but its not quite the same quality. just a solid film
simon of the desert is a great short film.
un chien andalou is a mindfrick. buñuel and dalí were quite the potent surrealist combo.
