You hate to see it.
Especially when it is Chicharito.

It’s been a weird year in MLS.
4 of the 5 teams with the most expensive rosters missed the playoffs, including both LA teams. Colorado with the cheapest roster in the league and no star players at all finished top of the West out of nowhere.
No California or Texas teams. LAFC faceplanted and the Galaxy still don’t know how to construct a team outside of signing flashy DPs.
Cincinnati spends a ton of money, only to win 4 games and win the Wooden Spoon for the third year in a row, which is a truly impressive achievement in a league with as much year-to-year fluctuations as MLS. They botched their initial roster horribly and still haven’t recovered. Minnesota made a complete turnaround in Year 3, but Cincy keeps getting worse.

MLS
I honestly kind of like the playoffs. The point system makes the late season playoff push a lot more interesting. For example, Orlando City went from potentially being the 3 seed in the East to worrying about missing the playoffs altogether because of one of the worst calls in MLS history 2 weeks ago against Nashville.
