I made the trip down from Nashville and I had a good time. The tailgate was fun and I think the stadium is fine for your guys. It could use a little more work done like more bathrooms around but maybe that will come over time with growth of the team. The making of the steel bars outside the stadium was really cool and I hope they keep doing that over the season. I'll try to make it down for the regular season game this year even though it's on a Wednesday.

Also looks like Grayson DuPont has been training with the team but hasn't been announced. He's from Birmingham (dad owns Cafe Dupont). Last played in what is now USL League Two.

I think we're up to 19 after announcing the signings of Tyler Savitsky and Benjamin Kucera.

Yeah, I think they're gonna look really nice. Think I'm going to the Pizitz to see the reveal.

Not as exciting as announcing who the first captain will be, but I like how they are partnering with a lot of locals, especially local universities like UAB and Samford.

That's awesome. Love how involved they're getting with the community.

The supporters group is also getting lots of good little sponsorships/perks for members around town (discounts etc) which is great to see as well and has a beer being done special for the group when they go to the brewery for away game watch parties. Everything really seems to be coming together for our little team! I'm so excited.

I saw that if you get tickets to sit in the Good People Deck, they sell Good People beers for only $3. I think I heard the cost is $5 for the rest of the stadium.

I'll probably start a 2019 season thread in the next few days. Just got ESPN+ this past weekend. In Montgomery, I don't think I get the Birmingham TV station that will show the games.

I'm coming to Birmingham Friday night for the Descendents concert, and considered staying Saturday for the game, but the chance of rain is scaring me away.

When I went to the Nashville game Beer was $6 for the Good People Muchacho that I was drinking (or maybe it was $5 and I was tipping $1...I don't remember) either way it's right around there. The Good People Deck was pretty empty and didn't look like it was anything other than standing room only behind one of the goals. Not sure if the price of the ticket will justify the discount on beer + the views of the game.

I think it's only $25, which is the same as some of the reserved grandstand seating. $10 more than GA.

Yeah, you're right. I just read something on AL.com that confirms we're wearing the home black kits for Saturday's game so wear black if you do end up coming up. Tailgate will be at Bessie Estelle Park starting at noon, supporters group heading to the stadium at 4 when the gates open. Alcohol is BYOB (if you want to hit the tailgate) and should be plenty of solo cups for it to be poured into as it's a public park and alcohol isn't "allowed" lol

I think the team just inadvertently announced the captain in an email...

"Want to see the first-ever Legion FC home jersey? Want to meet some Legion FC players like Chandler Hoffman and captain Mikey Lopez?"

Just signed LB Kyle Culbertson.

I think that brings us to 20.
