I'll be in the UK over Christmas and the New Year, venue/match suggestions?

I'm looking for advice on which match I should attend. I don't have a favorite club, so I'm looking more for an amazing atmosphere, and not necessarily the best game. Anywhere in England is in play. I'm leaning towards Liverpool or Man U.
Also, and this is equally important, to those who have been to epl matches, any advice on purchasing tickets? Where should I look? Etc.
Feel free to add any more advice from your experience.
Thanks in advance for the he

Did White Hart Lane for Tottenham/Liverpool on Sunday. The place was sweet but Spurs were losing from the 8th minute on so I think the fans were taken out of the game. Right around game time they were amazing tho.
Spurs have a stub hub agreement that made it really easy to buy a ticket online from the states and then just show up to pick it up at the stadium with the reference # and ID. I don't know that many others have such agreement but I sat 9th row, one section over from the benches for £85 (just a single ticket). Just something to look into.

Some of those matches you listed are impossible to get tickets too

Yeah I had my eye on that tottenham Man U game, but that has to be a tough ticket. And if love to see the Liverpool arsenal game, but that's a tough one too I imagine, and I don't think I'll be getting in until after that date.
Thanks for the info guys.
