It's a different ballgame when it pertains to other countries. I remember years ago a n LSU fan was walking out of Jordan-Hare when he got coldcocked in the back of the head from an Auburn fan. What does it mean when we shout "frick AUBURN" or "frick OLE MISS". And how is that any different from saying "frick Mexico". Would it be less offensive if we said "frick the fans of the Mexican national futbol team"? I don't know the answer, to be honest. A rivalry is a rivalry. It is what it is, but I don't think people on this board are really racist.

Yes. Friends I was with either left beforehand or left from the other end (I was seated opposite from where I was parked).

I don't think you're racist. I think this thread just lends itself to a discussion on the matter. I probably took too much of a Sheep being-a-dick approach at first, to be fair.
