I disagree. I think the reason we don't see him or Kljestan is that Klinsmann doesn't favor an "offense-only" midfielder.... a shitty version of Wesley Sneijder, if you will.

Isn't that what Torres is?

I think Feilhaber and Kljestan are the kind of players who can play well against a random CONCACAF team but would be in over their heads against a WC or strong friendly opponent. I'll throw Rico into that group as well.

Benny's problem is he doesn't get himself on the ball enough. He disappears for long periods of time and doesn't attempt defense so he's kind of useless when that happens.

As stated, a shitty version of Sneijder.

Feilhaber is a slick passer, good with the ball at his feet, has a decent shot, good on set pieces. He's far from bad, he's just one-dimensional.
