Ryno, who is the manager next year?
Posted on 4/20/11 at 8:25 pm to glassman
I have to say that Mancini will stay. I don't see the City uppers getting rid of a guy, a la Mark Hughes last year. Mourhino ain't going anywhere I suspect, who would obviously be my first choice.
Bobby Manc stays if he obtains top-4 status

If he wins the CL I think he will look for another option. You can dream.

I've never thought Mancini was the best tactical manager when he was in Serie A but he's pretty good and has, in the past, had success with difficult locker rooms.
Odd to be defending an ex Laziale + Interista but I'm not certain that most of the blame falls on him for many of City's poor performances.
Adebayor, for example: Mancini played him and in a mode similar to Mouriho today (counter attacking style up top with Tevez instead of CR7) and Adebayor not only didn't look in form, he looked at if he didn;'t give a shite either way.
Then Dzeko comes in to replace him-- and I like Dzeko and think he'll be good down the road-- but he just seems overwhelmed so far.
Kind of hard to see how Mancini changes that unless you say his hand in buying Dzeko was a mistake.
I think City will do much better to give Mancini another year than totally changing course again with a new manager.

Sweet. I gave up beef and pork. It has been rough. Red or white? Or do you not care?

along with that, we've got a pretty average midfield with no creators. We can't get the ball to Dzeko in the air,his forte, so we play to his feet. He needs running room or jumping room, not dribbling room to score. I guess you're right. The turnaround from Hughes is still slow, but it's in the right direction. 2/3 buys away from a truly great team, and the team now is pretty damn good

that's tough. i'm thinking about doing it next year.
red mostly, but a good white will never be turned down...esp in the summer

Might you happen to know, who will they be getting in? I like coach and the style of Arsenal, and players for Chelsea. Decisions, decisions..I'll watch some games and see, but I'm 50/50.

Don't do Arsenal. Please don't. Please, please don't.
I like Nasri as much as anyone, but this douche consistenly makes me hate Arsenal?
on the Chelski side, you have this a-hole:

I like Liverpool alright, most of the their fans (BleedPurpleGold/TFTC) are awesome
City are growing on me. Especially since they cleaned up the trash from the FA cup bracket.
