What a footballing treasure.
Clean, neat, precise ball placement, impossible to rob him without fouling him.

Love him. Arsenal hasn't been the same without him. To know how good he really was, Wenger would pair him with coquelin and our central midfield hasn't really looked that solid since. And we haven't been in the cl since.

My favorite Santi moment at Arsenal, besides his machine gun celebration that one time he had a nice assist, was a bit the media people did with him and Podolski commentating a previous game. At the point in the game when Poldi gets substituted, he fist bumps the guy coming on. Santi, commentating, goes “oh yeees, give him the ghetto feest” (ghetto fist).
