Good thing Sane didn't miss a few minutes of Man City preseason and put off that nose surgery a few weeks. His lack of dedication cost him. Lets face it and realize Sane is not a good fit for the national team at this time. He loses possession way to often and he has generally played horribly in the chances he has been given including against Austria this past weekend. He needs a team that plays to his strengths vs a well oiled machine that the national team already is.
In the World Cup if Germany were to find themselves down then the other team will have everyone behind the ball defending deeply and Sane would not have space to run into which is his strength. In the more likely event that Germany are winning then Reus, Draxler, Muller, and Werner have plenty of speed to burn the other teams on the counter and they fit much more into Low's tactical plans.

You seem to have some strong feelings on this.

One other thing, watch Timo Werner because he will be the young star this World Cup and he has just as much jets a Sane does and he knows how to perform the tactics Low requires. If any club was smart they would have picked him up before this tournament because his stock is about to go through the roof.
he's definitely the "James/Ribery/Ronaldinho" of this year's Cup, i reckon

Yeah, James felt like the obvious breakout star in 2014. I remember playing a ton of FIFA with Monaco before that WC to use him.

Leroy Sane won the PFA-young player award and helping Man City to achieve Premier League title. But he opt-out from the German squad. Besides him, Bernd Leno, Jonathan Tah and Nils Petersen also opted out.
