Not sure how I missed this, but Fredy Montero is enjoying his loan spell in Portugal at Sporting. Hat trick in the opening match and he converted a penalty yesterday for 4 goals in 2 games.
Sporting have won their first two games by a combined 9-1 score.

That's wild, I thought he was playing in Colombia for that Millionaires team or whatever it's called.

He's definitely talented, just needs to find greater consistency. Playing on a team where he's not an automatic start should help.

He also scored several goals in the preseason. Sporting got a steal...Fredy wasn't doing so hot back in Colombia, but SCP needed a striker to replace Wolfie.
