Why does the paint format tool seem to automatically cover two cells instead of just one when I try to use it?

Gerrard was arguably the best value pick of the draft so far.

I was really hoping he would keep falling.

Nah, that was where his value is. He won't have the assists or goals he had last season. He will play 90 for all 38 matches though as long as he stays healthy.

Beast, what did you think of my Negredo pick? I think he could have a great year at City.

Heck, any pick would've looked better than Fellaini in the second round.

(I picked Tim Howard way too early last year, too. Curse you Everton.)

LSUSOBEAST does not like me, Im convinced. I have made 3 picks and he has bashed two of them already.

eta: maybe its a Liverpool hatred and not a Mick hatred

Completely disagree on his value. Gerrard would need a precipitous drop in points to not warrant a second round pick.

He is a better fantasy player than a guy like Silva IMO (no offense to whoever picked Silva).

He was the 11th highest scoring player last season. Fantasy is not real life.

I like that one Wait !!! Dude is a beast.

I wanted him but couldnt decide on how the torres/ba/lukaku saga will play out. He's the best of the 3 and it isnt close imo.

Our team dynamics have changed since last season and we haven't improved the defense. His upside is the amount he will play and the fact that he will never be subbed off. He also takes most indirect set pieces, granted we are terrible at set pieces.

Other than that he will be playing much deeper. Coutinho is the star of the offense now. Since he and Sturridge were added, Gerrard has 2 league assists compared to the first half of the season where he had 9.

ETA He is also 33 and his fitness will be a concern. Playing deeper will have less of an effect on his legs though.

He was capable of scoriong plenty of fantasy points off the bench last year, but I hope he gets the lion share of the starts.

He's a good player but he just has so much competition. I think Dzeko will have the biggest season of any of them. I think Morado will be a quality substitute and an occasional starter barring injury.

Sturridge is a good pick in round 2. I think he will have a round 1 season. Something like 22/6. The only problem, and it's a big one, is his injury history. I wouldn't bet on him playing a full 38.

20 players scored at least 150 points last season (these are the first and second round draft picks). Gerrard scored 185 last season.

In order to warrant top 20 status, Gerrard can score 7 less goals than last season and Mick still got a good price because he was drafted at 25 overall.

I am not saying Gerrard will last season's numbers, but he does not have to. If Rooney was not available, then I may have taken him 12th overall (a bit of a reach). However, he is clearly graded in the second round.
