The Houston Dynamo just got a new stadium and I don't think they've lost there yet and they are currently the hottest team in MLS. They're not my fav club (you should really choose the Sounders 
) but they're not a bad choice at all.

when do the playoffs start? i feel like that would be a great time to jump in or i might just look for the next game i can catch

Euro leagues don't have playoffs. MLS playoffs start in October.

Also there are a lot of "season long" team threads with a decent amount of info about the club in the OP. check those out if you want. You seem to be latching to mls (nothing wrong with that) but I'm also new to the mls so I can't help much on clubs, etc etc.

not until October or November.. but all the matches have playoff implications right now.. so its still a good time to watch..

thats actually a goo point to bring up.. a lot of the USMNT players play in England and other Euro leagues.. in addition to the US..
also, just one prerequisite to being accepted here.. you MUST be a USMNT fan and hate the mexicans (their national soccer team, not necessarily a total bigot...... but sorta).. there are a few Canadians that are accepted, but they still have to hate Mexico..

The top leagues are EPL (England), La Liga (Spain), Bundesliga (Germany), Serie A (Italy). Most people here seem to watch EPL. It is arguably the best league and most of the matches/analysis can be found in English.

Barclays Premier League - English
SPL - Scottish
Serie A - Italian
Bundesliga - German
Ligue 1 - French
La Liga - Spanish
most people here follow the EPL first.. but several follow La Liga and Bundesliga first..
most follow the MLS also, but that is still a growing trend..

MLS is a second- or third-tier league as far as talent/competitiveness. However, I still find it very exciting and am one of the biggest MLS tards on the Soccer Board.

Well currently I believe some south American leagues are going on( kind of sketchy) but all the euro leagues start within the month of August. Really couldn't have chosen a better time to pick it up. Mls is in the heat of the season and the euro leagues are about to get underway. Like I said bayern Munich is accepting all fan applications, we have a thread on here if you'd like to look at that.

just stop by the soccer board often.. people here will be more than happy to let you know what games are coming up, and where you can watch..
