I know nothing about soccer but just realized I’ll be in London on the day of the FA Cup final.
Is that a big deal? Is the FA Cup an important league that most of the city will be preoccupied with? Should I look into getting a tic or just find a pub and enjoy the scene?

Its a huge deal
London is a city of 8 million people. So no, the only area you will notice something going on is around Wembley and various bars/pubs in the city that have tvs
Good luck finding a ticket that is cheap or legit. Esp if clubs like United, Liverpool, Chelsea or one of smaller clubs with massive support make it.
When I went tickets were going for 400 quid a piece, so we just watched it at a pub about half a mile from the stadium.

Could be a little different this year because Harry's wedding is the same day.
