They are showing quiet a bit of highlights tonight. I don't say this often but good work ESPN.

There are always going to be more highlights on the Sunday night edition of their show because, obviously, most leagues play on the weekends.

Their first episode was last Sunday and they didn't show many highlights. Some of the leagues have already started. They also didn't show much MLS stuff but last night they even covered them some.

The Sunday edition is an hour long as well, or atleast that's how it always was for press pass. With it being the first episode and with most leagues in preseason I think it's fair to say they were always going to step it up with the highlights.

Soccer also has the benefit of no nfl, cfb, nba, or cbb to compete with.
Besides preseason of course.

I watched a few minutes of it today. Long enough to hear Twellman say JAB played poorly against B-H and is trending down.

As if my hate for Twellman could get any more intense. Not only is he a douche and an awful color man with zero perspective, he's wrong. JAB made a couple mistakes, but really impressed I thought. Big, athletic, and composed.

I actually agree with twellman. I think JAB has all the tools to become a top defender, but he and Cameron both had poor games. He definitely showed enough positive signs to continue to get minutes, don't read too much into Twellmans comments.
ETA: they were going up against a very good attacking side in a difficult environment, this is all part of the process, the only way he can get the experience he needs is to get through those types of games.

True dat. My disgust for everything Twellman clouded my judgement skills regarding JAB. Good prospect, bad game.
