couple of notes about AOBR watch parties

for those who didn't see, AOBR has left the Londoner/ Smiling Dog, and we will be watching the games at The Varsity.

with the US schedule since our shift we havent had one there yet, so we are going into this WC a little blind


Talked to mgmt yesterday, with the group games being at 4am, 7am, 10am and 1pm, I asked if they would be open for the 10an games, at the very least for the big ones
They told me they will actually be opening up for the 7am games and are working on breakfast options. I dont want to hold them to that officially because thats a lot to ask of staff but keep your fingers crossed

also all ages are welcome, so with next week schools being closed, you can bring the family

if you want a smaller place, I talked with the guys from City Slice on Chimes last week, they will also be hosting viewing parties and are looking into opening earlier for EPL when it returns

I hope a lot of you can come join us. I know enthusiasm for the team/group has waned since 14 with the 2018 debacle and Covid, but I'm trying to bring it back
