Probably the greatest High School soccer coach in Louisiana history.
Even though they've been meh the past couple of years, it will take some big shoes to fill in.

That's what I heard too. He's only in his 50s, so not really in retirement age. He's a teacher at the school as well, so leaving before the end of the school year does not make sense if "retiring."
What I've gathered is that students, players, and parents don't agree with the decision by the school.
And yes, his results have been very mediocre for the last 6-7 years, though he technically sat out 1.5 years due to a "recruiting violation" during that time.
