I don't think Wondo should be disqualified from ever capping for the US again, but I'd prefer it if he wasn't an option, but our striker pool isn't that deep. That's not because of the miss, but because I don't think he's an international level striker. The miss, while awful, has nothing to do with his inability to translate his success at the MLS level to the international level. It might be indicative of it, but I don't think he has the physical or technical qualities to succeed.

As for Agudelo, I really think he needs to spend some time on the wing, which would force him to work in tight spaces, would allow him to try to beat players off the dribble, and would allow him to play off the shoulder of the fullback. If he's to stay in the MLS, which is a results oriented league, he needs game time. He won't get better by staying behind Cooper.

Didn't notice actually. I spent my first few thousand on the SEC rant, but its a bit of a cesspool now so I'll probably cross the mark tomorrow on here with all the premiership games.

the SECrant may have always been a cesspool actually. An entertaining enough cesspool though.

Agudelo has potential but its time for him to do something in the MLS. I don't think he's an amazing talent or anything, he's not exceptionally fast, strong, or technically skilled. He's pretty solid for a young player in all those areas though. He at least has some potential.

Chris Wondolowski

He's this decade's Taylor Twellman, who was the 2000's Ante Razov.

He's an MLS goal scorer, and a damned good one.

He's not an international player.
