I love reading through the Chelsea haters excuses

Also, was this yall's first time watching Drogba play? Drog-flop is not a new discovery. It was in full swing today, but its certainly nothing out of the ordinary

Height. Puyol's the only semi-tall player they have healthy. You use Mata, Ramires, etc. and run down the flanks bombing balls into the middle. The ref was also allowing physical play, another thing that Chelsea could have taken advantage of. Athletic Bilbao played very well against Barca early in the year by doing exactly this. Athletic didn't get the win, but if they had finished a bit better, they would have.

Instead, Chelsea decided to be a shitty version of Stoke and hope to catch a lucky break, which came when Messi wasn't fully there.

You're forgetting Marcelo's foul and fight at the end.

Haven't seen it, I was in class for that. I just saw those gifs. Gomez takes so much punishment, those two should have been penalties.

Jesus Christ he's lucky he didn't tear a ligament like that. I didn't see it either. Can't believe that's not a sending off.

He then hit out at some Bayern player when he got up.

I Assume that's directed at me, and I'd say more of a Chelsea disliker. But yeah, I've watched a decent amount of drogba games (mostly this year or last though) and he was 10x worse than what I've seen before.

I think there is a strong chance Chelsea can win this tie. The important thing for them is to not even leave the defensive third in the 2nd leg. With the lead, they have no reason to. Their biggest problem was in midfield, as on some occasions Meireles and Lampard didn't know who to pick up and at what point to pick them up. They aren't defensive midfielders, so this confusion should be expected.

If Chelsea never compromise their defensive shape, they have a strong chance to win the tie.

I got no issues with those two non-calls by Howard Webb. Looks like Pepe got a good shoulder to shoulder contact to me.

meh, still have no problem with that contact. Even if that was in the middle of the field, I would probably let that go. Andy I f'ing hate Pepe.

It's not shoulder to shoulder if you're coming from behind like Pepe did in the first tackle.

The second tackle was also illegal.

When Pepe makes contact his shoulder is actually in front of Muller's shoulder...there is nothing wrong with that contact IMO.

Ramos gets the ball on his tackle and you can see the ball go towards the endline...the second tackle looks to me, while definitely all man, comes after Ramos makes a clean challenge.

I feel dirty coming to the defense of Madrid.

ETA: Also, I am just going on what I see in the .gifs...I didn't get to see the live video or replay of this live.
