That doesn't change the fact that Luiz initiated contact with Mario.

So the guy standing still initiated contact with the guy running full speed at him? That's like me running into a tree and blaming the tree.

I'm done trying to convince a troll he's a idiot or an idiot he's a troll, don't know about the rest of you.

Try basing your extensive psychic opinion on something other than the gif posted in this thread. If you did maybe you'd have seen Luiz shuffle his feet over to the same side Mario was trying to get around.

You're right. I should've known better than to get into an argument with Randy. Again, its not so much that he has a point, its how ridiculously stubborn he is insisting that his opinion is the only one that's right in what is clearly a call that could go either way.

And there it is...

Can't make a point? Throw out the troll card.

Oh just shut up.

Its hard to make a point when you claim that whatever we say is wrong and your opinion is "inarguable."

Damn dude, stop letting your bias against me get in the way and actually read what I am saying. I have said Balotelli was well within his right to do what he did. Do I think it was a foul on Luiz? No, but I have also said the call could have, and usually does, go the other way.

I just can't understand how anyone that watches soccer could doubt that Balotelli was trying to initiate contact. Every single aspect of the play makes it clear, that's all I'm saying.

Nah, you are just arguing something that I never said. I didn't say the call was "inarguable". I said the exact opposite.

Anyhow, kudos for at least trying to have a conversation even if it got sidetracked and misunderstood somehow.

None of it changes the fact we suck and Rafa Benitez is our manager.

Are you saying Balotelli wasn't looking for contact? Or that you don't pull your arms toward body when you are bracing for contact?

Both of those statements are pretty much inarguable.

Neither one of those statements have anything to do with the call.

One is about Balotelli's intent and the other is about a natural human reaction.

I knew Jumbeaux was a dumbass but you're better than that.

Which is exactly what you're saying is "certainly" the case. That he intended contact. I'm simply saying its arguable that he tried to go around Luiz and Luiz stepped into him.

I honestly think you didn't watch the play. Luiz lowered his shoulder and laid a hit on Mario. He wasn't trying to move away, he was initiating the contact. As far as kicking the ball around an opponent, I guess you are the one that doesn't watch soccer, because players with pace do this all of the time. Hazard and Ramires especially. In fact, if someone is running full speed towards you, it doesn't take much to kick the ball out front and run around him. Right now, you are no better than Man U fans that think they do no wrong. Which really doesn't surprise me.
