Yea we need a shakeup and hopefully big name players putting pressure on the club will bring about the changes we need. Unfortunately it will probably just mean we have to sell a want away Hazard for less than he's worth and end up spending the money on some fringe player from Watford.

Chelsea legends playing right now. Di Matteo opened the scoring.

This was a disappointing season. There's no other way to describe it. But I am proud of everybody for rallying and at least winning some silverware.

If it wasn't for N'Golo Kante I don't know if I would even watch this team.

So the stadium plans are on hold. Don't know what that means. It was a lot for not many more seats. I'm wondering if Roman is going to spend big on players or if he's turning the club into a for profit situation like a lot of other big clubs. TBH I wish he'd just sell the club to someone if he doesn't really care. I'm sure we'd get a guy who is also a billionaire.

Well, from what i understand, hes unable to have any direct involvement with the club until his visa gets sorted out.

If the new stadium holds any significant local economic impact, id say this is him playing hardball over his visa.

What a shitshow tho. No coach. No director of football. Star players stalling on renewals. Aging core. Mid-table signings. A record signing who already wants out.

All while Pool quickly rebuilds their midfield.

Also Sky is saying we're almost certainly selling Courtois.

Totally fine with that. Hes been doing the want-away Diego act for awhile now. Hes also not worth De Gea money. The gap between Tbo and DDG is larger than Tbo to the next tier under, imo.

Hes a really good keeper whose heart isnt in it, and has caused his form to swing wildly. You never see DDG have horrid games like Tbo did in barcelona. And, IF sarri is the new guy, courtois would struggle to play in his system. Hes just not that great passing the ball out short.

it would be cool if we did something. appoint a manager. fire someone. send a youth player to vitesse. sign a player.

West Ham is even acting more like a functioning club than Chelsea.

Water under the bridge, but just watching Belgium vs. France and seeing Hazard, KDB, and Lukaku leading that front line made me want to cry.

Hazard I understood, but Courtois might exit as well??? That would definitely make us Europa-grade for sure. :-(

IMO Courtois is more likely to leave than hazard. I don’t think he particularly wants to leave but if we can’t give him a supporting cast like he deserves then he’s gone. Also we don’t HAVE to sell him, he’s got 2 more years left in his contract. Somethings gotta give for Sarri/Roman/Conte and new signings. I honestly feel like we are a complete dumpster fire right now.

Courtois is way more likely to leave than Hazard. Dude has been talking about playing for other clubs for 2+ years. I think Hazard legitimately likes the club, but he's not going to stay if we can't win.

Hopefully Courtois finally doing something today will drive his price up. Can’t wait til he’s gone

We say that until we replace him with Huddersfield's #2.
