How you can definitively say the ball went out is beyond me.
You'd need goal line technology or a camera angle looking directly down the line.

The fact that they don’t have a camera down the line is the real travesty. Nothing definitively said the whole ball was out.

Even if you see grass between, a part of the ball not touching the ground (I.e. the side of the ball) can still be over the line, thus keeping it inbounds.
