Great atmosphere, poor game from Rangers, honestly. Mostly just kicking out and stamping at Celtic players.

Self-defense. Their fanbase is composed of a bunch of supremacist assholes who riot at any opportunity and can't stand Celtic fans being better than them.

See SCH's posts in all threads involving Celtic players and coaches being attacked. Also see the treatment that Lennon received from those animals the last few years. Also check today's Guardian.

Hearts fan (still claim to follow the Scottish game?). That one time. The bullets, the robberies, the assaults during his playing career? That was from your fanbase. Isn't it amazing how he hasn't been attacked since moving to Bolton?

True. The only thing that matters is that Celtic need Rangers but the fan base is too daft to realize it.

A nearly irrelevant league has become completely irrelevant. It won't become relevant until there is more than one team in the league.

I get why people say this when Celtic is ahead by 20 points...but has anyone looked at the table lately? Celtic is scraping by.

That's Bc Celtic has gotten worse every year

Cut the quality of the squad in order to keep making a profit due to playing in half full home games.

Explain

How is the league relevant?

You can prattle on about your titles but they are relatively meaningless because it was a 2 team league, and now is a one team league.

The Toronto Argonauts have won a bunch of titles too. Doesn't mean the league is worth a crap.

This thread was created more because I was impressed with the amount of games between Celtic and Rangers. I had no clue that TNBhoy would turn this into a funny arse shiteshow.

What truth? The only players that could be counted as "wage cutting" that we've lost are Ledley and Samaras. Transfers not working out (hi Derk) doesn't mean we're downsizing or anything. Not every cheap buy can be Wanyama, Forster, Ledley, Commons, or Hooper.

Why aren't we in the UCL this year? We had a fricking injury crisis through October and we got a brand new manager a couple weeks before the season started. OL, now top of the league in France, crashed out of Europe completely to a team that ended bottom in Celtic's Europa group.

You fricks who haven't watched the SPFL don't have a clue about how the league has worked. Yes, we don't have the Sky subsidy that the EPL has, so you're not seeing Inverness spending £10mill like West Brom can. But the death of Rangers is the best thing that could have happened to the league. Ask Dundee Utd and Aberdeen. A club that cheated for well over a decade is gone. Money that was going to them is now going elsewhere. Scottish teams aren't having to sell everything to just the big two and, when they do sell to Celtic, we're paying more than we would have previously. And look at the EPL and Championship. They're built with former Scottish players. FFS, some of them failed in Scotland and are now the best players at their club.
