No big cash splash on a Primera club, he's pumped 2M Euros into 2nd division Real Oviedo (a Primera stalwart fallen on bad times, and out of the big show for over a decade now).

Mata played here, as did Adrián of Atlético de Madrid, and Santi Cazorla is a product of the club as well.

Ah, I forgot to mention this guy:

I see he scored another today. Good for you, Laudrup.

Not quite the splash I was thinking of... maybe a Hoffheim-esque march up...

Man, I was hoping for an investment in Atletico.

It was close to $15. They asked the public for help and so I bought a share. They apparently send you a legitimate shareholder certificate and you get free entrance to matches, but I'm skeptical whether they will stick to that or not.

Did you do this online?

Did Toni Fidalgo write you a letter in English?

They will. Now, for how long, is another story.

They linked to the fundraiser on their official site

I randomly bought a share, too

Where did you buy this? I think I'll buy a few. Maybe the SB can take a controlling interest.

I'm hoping I receive the certificate. They didn't specify whether they would send it overseas or not.

send them an e'mail. If they won´t send it, I can have it sent to my home, and them mail them to you.
