The referee could not have moved away from Leandro Damiao's hand quicker

I haven't seen one bad foul from Honduras since the first yellow on the guy that ended up getting sent off.
of course you haven't, your eyes must be fixated upon the ball and nothing more.

there have been major judo takedowns, trips, the impeding the getting back up of the aggrieved player until the danger has passed, etc.

but, if the ref does not see the diving, he most certainly doesn't see this either.

Nah, that's because they haven't been there.

That ref better not be in any of the other matches this tourney, he lost control of this match and doesnt know how to stop diving

Honduras played dirty the entire match. When they weren't quick enough they clearly went for the knock down on several occasions to stop fast breaks. They probably should have had more yellows.

sure..dude...whatever you have to tell yourself.
truth is if the ref had not sucked, it could have been a different game.

Didn't watch, but I would bet the house this is spot on. Did they punch a dude in the face this time too? Or is that something they just reserve for playing against the US?

It got a little more chippy at the end but I find it impossible to believe someone could watch that game and come away complaining about Honduras after the bs Brazil (mainly Neymar) pulled all game.

I gave him a chance this Olympics, since it was the first time I've actually gotten to watch him play. He's pretty good, but I definitely dOnt like him. He can stay in brazil for all I care. One of the best players in the world should be embarrassed by all that flopping.
