Baros retires from international football

You can tell that at 30, he just isn't the player he used to be. Pouncer extraordinaire in his heyday though. His 41 goals for CZE second only to Jan Koller's 55 (damn, underrated much?).
Still has some good years ahead of him at Galatasaray and will be playing CL football this season.

I liked him from his days as a Red. A shame he won't be playing for Czech Republic for WC qualifiers.

seems like yesterday he went off in the group stages at euro 2004. figured liverpool would try and sell high but he came back and helped them win the champions league.
