2-1, Reds. Rooney showing he's back on form. This is the first match of the season I get to actually sit and watch and enjoy.

Biggest shock to me is no Eboue. We're screwed if Sagna or Clichy go out with a knock. Shocked we have 4 attacking subs. Would have left Bendtner at home for Eboue. Maybe Eboue wasn't fully fit though...

What probably will happen in that case is Song moves back to CB, and one of the CB's takes over either LB or RB. A dangerous situation to be honest. If a knock happens, we might as well go to a three man back line, though I'm sure we don't have the discipline to play it.

Song played out wide whenever one of them went down for a bit last match. Squillaci and Kos don't have the pace to play at fullback. I would imagine Song would have to fill that void and we'd bring on Denilson :barf: or Fabregas.

26 of the 33 Chilean miners are at the match. I have no idea that significance of that information.

Yeah I think he's a little indulgent in his own theories (who can blame him?), so he likes analyzing those fulcrum/pivot/holding players more often than not. I.e. Busquets being another one of his fetishes

/reaches down, touches carpeting near water cooler as I trot back towards my shitty chinese stream here at work, puffing out chest and doing the sign of the cross twice and then the ll cool j/sammy sosas chest bump, kiss, peace sign, per my office watching ritual

Kos & Squil look shaky as heck still.

Arsenal definitely have more possession and are attacking ManU's box far more, problem is their only attack it to kick it wide an swing in a cross for Chamakh against 3 defenders. This coupled with a ton of poor passes by the gunners have them not piling up scoring chances.

Center defenders nearly cost Arsenal another goal, yet again.

I am pleasantly surprised that the game has nearly been played in united's half the entire match, granted it is only half an hour in haha.

Arsenal really insist on giving the ball away once they near ManU's box. They continuously make rapid fire wall passes in very tight spacing. Not one of them steps up and takes a shot. Mentally they just can't pull the trigger until they get inside the box it seems.

Nasri has made some surprisingly poor decisions. Not showing his usual patience. He's surely feeling the creative burden.
