Ramsey aiming optimistically for a return for the Bayern game, and more realistically for the Tottenham game. Either way barring another setback, knock on every piece of wood available*, he should be unavailable for only one more league game. And we should have him back for the four week death stretch

Good news. Our stretch of matches in March is going to test the squad and the more healthy bodies the better off we will be.

up 3-1.

they scored right before half.

their keeper brought down akpom in the box, olsson converted the penalty (olsson came on for zelalem in the 62nd minute)

gnabry scored the third after their keeper made good saves to deny akpom and maitland-niles

that goal should earn Joel Campbell a contract extension.

yeah, apparently he has a 6m pound option to buy clause in his loan deal. i'm not sure he'd make it at arsenal honestly. seems like it'd be a fair price.

Why can't we get CL draws like Man U?

I don't know if I can ever like Joel Campbell after seeing him get Besler yellow carded.

If we can trot out Gervinho we can try Campbell. As long as this fricker doesn't ask for the ball to his feet. Make runs. That's all I want.

I'm not sure we should aspire to the "heights" of the past two years. regardless, gervinho's better than campbell.

also, Campbell plays RW for olympiacos, a position we have pretty well covered. just think we need to shoot for higher.

balague says morata wants to join us if Real and Arsenal can agree on a fee. considering dandy and joey's evaluations of him, that move wouldn't do much for me.

Me either, especially considering how Sanogo has looked. Giroud and him are going to be fine up top. The summer transfer window is going to be great to see. World Cup and Arsenal has cash to splash.

I don't know if we can pass judgement yet. Campbell has gotten nearly 100 appearances for teams in top divisions, and he's played well in each stop. He is one footed, and he doesn't seem like he can build up play but six months with the first team won't hurt him that much. I mean, I think we will sell him, but he's a more promising player than Ryo.

I'd rather not Morata. Let's go Draxler, another DM, a CM, a winger, a striker, and a CB. The striker depends on Sanogo though, who looks extremely promising.

well, gervinho at the time he was with us is better than campbell is right now. that's all i meant. campbell is no spring chicken at 22. and while he's been a solid contributor in 3 top level leagues, i've never seen the talent there to be a regular at arsenal. maybe he merits a closer look next offseason and season, but it seems to me we need to go after better players than that at this point. i do agree he'd contribute more than ryo, who has been very disappointing.

saw some papers linking us (as well as other top EPL clubs) to Benatia. i really wish we would re-sign baccy because he's better than any RB or backup CB we will pick up. we do need another CB badly though. i'd prefer we give baccy a big 2 or 3 year deal, bring in another RB, maybe next summer, and let Jenks go out on loan and develop some more.
