Anybody know about the USSF team selection process?

One of the kids in my son's club was called to try out for the second time for the U15 MNT. How many layers of tryouts do they have?

IDK but I'm guessing ODP has something to do with it.
How good is this kid?
At that age it's really a crapshoot.

It's above ODP. The club sent 3 to ODP and all 3 made it. This kid is going for USMNT U15. He looks like a normal 13 year old, but put some boots on him and he looks like a grown arse man.

There are probably only a couple of people on the board who are close enough to a player who went through it (or are in an area where it happens frequently) to know. I'd bump the thread a couple of times, and then, if you're really curious, try to find out through BigSoccer.
I can't begin to answer the question. The only player in my age group that I really had any exposure to who was at that level was from Tupelo.
