Aleksandr Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev Arrested for Drunkenly Assaulting Multiple People

Mamaev’s wife claimed that everyone involved was super drunk.

Both will remain in jail until December when they are sentenced and go to prison

Would this be happening if they had just beat up regular people (and still got caught on camera) instead of a high up politician and govt employee? Or would their track record of being morons, regardless of whoever they beat up, have them in at least a decent amount of trouble?
