Advice for Copa América tickets this summer

I'm in Houston, so I'm definitely looking at going to at least one of the matches here. The one that will work best for me is Colombia vs Costa Rica. I've looked at tickets and there are plenty of options, but for decent seats it'll cost a couple hundred dollars each.
I feel like there is no way a southern city will sell out 70,000 tickets for two average soccer teams. Does that mean tickets will get cheaper later, or should I just play it safe and buy them now?
Never experienced an international tournament like this before, literally no clue.

I bought a few tickets for that game right when they came out. In the 500 section close to midfield at $90 a piece. I'm guessing they will be high until closer to game day and people get desperate to sell.

When is average making the final 8 of the last World Cup?
