With Defoe playing well and now Dempsey in the mix will he get on the field at some point?

Has he been misbehaving himself?

AVB seems to love Defoe.

Arsenal fan or not. The truth is the truth.

Maybe, but Defoe over Adebayor doesn't make much sense. Adebayor is the type of striker AVB's system demands, but Defoe has played well in the past few matches for Tottenham and England. Once Adebayor is match fit he will be in that squad.

This. Probably going to be hard for Adebayor to break into the lineup.

Why? Adebayor isn't fit to play yet.

Ade came in not match fit after doing nothing with man city during the summer, defoe has been on roll lately but once that subsides Ade will start

I don't get the love for Defoe...or Lennon. Neither seem very good to me. Defoe has his moments when he can look good and produce for Spurs. But in my opinion those aren't as numerous as his bad moments.

I was surprised he wasn't brought in as a sub in the Reading game. I mean if he needs match fitness, seems like a 15-20 minute appearance after they went up 2-0 would make sense.

Don't they have a Europa league game this week? Surely he'll play some in that one.

Are you referencing a particular love? Or just the fact that he keeps playing?

He's not above Ade in the depth chart, and won't be unless his attitude problems kick back in. With that said, he's a good goal scoring option and his conversion % is good.

even in the pretty good match he had sunday where he got his brace he still had plenty of bad moments.. mainly being selfish when he could have laid it off for a much better shot.

Affter watching my first Tott game (new spurs fan cause Dempsey) I have to admit Defoe is a favorite of mine. He makes things happen.

That being said, Ill play adebayor a good bit when I use Tott in FIFA.
