Nice camera angle as well.

I wonder how much Kobayashi still has in his legs.

He looks like our best player right now.

Damn. That was a nice shot.

We seem to have a hard time actually getting shots off.

Crowd was great, at least in the SS. I heard it was a sellout, but the stadium seating across from us made it look definitely not sold out...either way, was a great first game. Nevermind the outcome...we had a blast

I'm going to try and make it out next week. Sunday not the easiest day to get out for a game. Happy that they put up a better fight than the preseason opener.

Has anyone heard any talk about plans for an academy?
They claim that their long-term goal is to join MLS, so I imagine an academy has to be almost a prerequisite.

Haven’t heard plans about academy, but I imagine as this thing gets off the ground more and more then they will start looking in that direction.
I was pleasantly surprised by the attendance at the game the other day, and match results notwithstanding, this was a great launch for the program. If it can sustain and grow I’m sure they will look into more longtime endeavors like an academy.
But man, what a great turnout and event the other day, on a weather delayed game even. I sat in the supporters section even though my season tickets are across the field in the grandstands, and had a blast and plan on doing that for most of the rest of the season.

This is interesting. USL is creating and academy league called USL Academy.

In addition to the USL Academy Cup, the league will also be working diligently with each USL club to accelerate their strategic plans in the youth development space, with the ultimate goal of creating academies across all USL clubs.

Just got 2 guys on loan from New England.
Posted on 3/14/19 at 10:40 pm to pvilleguru
Zachary Herivaux signed with New England as their 3rd Homegrown player in 2015. Has 4 caps for Haiti.
Brian Wright was the 20th pick in the 2017 SuperDraft.
Both Soehn and Heaps were with New England when both players joined the club.
It's an open-ended loan for both players and New England has the ability to recall them at any time.

you comin up for the game this weekend?
Posted on 3/15/19 at 9:07 am to Doldil
Was thinking of it, but with the temp probably being in the 40's by kickoff, I think I'll pass. I asked around to see if anyone wanted to go, but I didn't push it too hard.

Possible formation change as well.

Herivaux got in the starting XI pretty quickly.
