I feel like every pro soccer player in Europe was there. Half the city team were there.

City staying firm with their 20 million for Lexi baby.

Pretty much everytime City says they are staying firm, they bid another 10 million
ala KDB and Sterling
ala KDB and Sterling

If I had to guess, it’s City calling whomever’s bluff. Whether that is United or Sanchez’s agent who is creating all this.

I read City are backing off because Jesus is supposed to return sooner than expected.

I wouldn't say 'backing off', but there was a fear he tore a ligament and would be out for 3-4 months. Now that, that didn't happen I think it makes Sanchez moving now less vital than it would have been.

Dude, y'all could've had another two players break every bone in their body and wouldn't need Sanchez. Y'all have a world class attacking midfielder who has hung out on the bench for almost the entire season already.

If Sane went down, we would have literally no other natural LW. Sterling can play there, but then Bernardo is on the right and then there would be no backup wingers on the first team.
that's why Sanchez is valuable to us, he can play all three spots.

I wonder how long Silva v2 decides to hang around.

It is already well known that he was brought in to be David Silva's replacement. The man is 32 and still ballin, but who knows when he'll drop off. Could be at anytime.
Regardless, Bernardo and the locker room as a whole seems very well meshed and content. Now if they start sucking arse next seasons or fall out in the UCL early on that may change. But City haven't sold a player they haven't wanted to in a good while. So I doubt that will change any time soon.

Preposterous. City always overpay and ruin the market. Can't be true.

Well you're trying to buy a guy you don't need you can have for free in 6 months.

I'm not saying the squad will start to fight or anything, but guys of Bernardo's quality/age aren't just cool with coming off the bench for a while. He's going to be impatient by the end of the season if this continues, and if it goes into next year, he's going to want out.
