Plus, waiting until it came back around for another established striker sounded incredibly risky. The Chuck Cats are going to be huge Frank de Boer fans this season.

I really didn't think he'd be valued higher than my early third round pick, hence the Zaha pick. I thought Benteke would come off the board before him.

With the 23rd pick in the 2017-2018 TD Fantasy Premier League Draft, Donovan & Klopp United select:
FWD Jermain Defoe (Bournemouth)
Analysis:
After back-to-back fifteen goal campaigns and a long history of scoring success in the FPL, Defoe will serve as our much-needed forward. However, there is cause for concern between his age and the fact the front line at Bournemouth is crowded.
Upcoming targets:
DKU will look to pair Defoe with another striker. We plan on taking Deuce (again).

If you think you can second guess yourself, imagine two dudes trying to figure out the best striker with the the combination of lowest floor, but still a reasonably high ceiling.
And when jerks keep taking bentenkes etc right before we pick it doesn't help.
