Pienaar to sign pre-contract within next 48 hours with a major European club -SSN
ETA: If he's going to Spurs, why would he sign a pre-contract?

They're saying Chelski made something like a 3 million bid for Pienaar.
Bargain bin buy IMO, and could work out wonderfully for those goddamned Blues.

Darren Bent to Aston Villa for 18mm pounds. Done deal. Seems like a lot of cash for Bent.

Well that came very much out of nowhere...

It really. Villa is in desperation mode.

As they should be IMO...they're a club that's much better than being in the relegation zone.
Just disappoints me that it was Bent. I've been following Sunderland lately and unless they flip that money on another attacker they'll be worse off for it. Gyan is good, but Welbeck is hurt right now.

They really have to.

Who is available right now?
The only player who I can think of that is currently in England is Adebayor, who is available on loan. But there's the Real Madrid factor going there, not to mention I don't really think Sunderland would make a run for him.

One rumor floating around is Adam Johnson. Not a striker, but would help with the attack. Not sure that City would even consider a sale.

Didn't they just sign AJ last summer?

He played some last EPL for City during the spring. Might have been a January signing. Maybe some of the City boys will chime in.

Yeah...I just Googled.
He signed from Middlesbrough last spring.

I like his style & he needs to play more, but City has too much $$$ tied up in bigger names for that to happen.
Seamus Coleman not getting any love from you guys?

I really like that Moyes has moved him to midfield. Coleman has some serious speed.

So now Everton have accepted a bid from Tottenham for Pinnear. Will he be a Spur or a Blue?
