McCarron has the position pretty much locked down now. The only way that Sims will be the starter by his junior year is if McCarron jumps to the NFL after next year. I like McCarron a lot but I'll be shocked if he jumps to the NFL after next season. Is Sims going to transfer in the next couple months or will he stay around for another year to see what happens?

If he's going to do it, he'll need to do it before Wednesday. Of course he's got three years left, and another spring at Alabama won't hurt him.

I hear that the fat man at Kansas is adopting QBs.... But in all seriousness Wisconsin would be a great place for him to transfer, with Wilson leaving and Ball coming back, it would open things up nicely for him... Would Saban let him transfer to Wisconsin tho?

He doesn't need Saban's approval. It's always nice to not burn bridges, but coach's approval only matter when transferring in conference.

Edit: And Saban gave Corey Grant leave to transfer to AUBURN. I doubt he wants to hinder his players if they decide to go elsewhere.

He could team up with Dyer at Arkansas State.
