PP is probably the top CB in the SEC as a sophomore.

C. Jones - It might just be me but I wasn't impressed and after some of the huge plays he's made this season I expected him to stand out especially with the way McElroy was zeroing in on half the field.

JJ - Played slightly better than I expected, I hope he wasn't able to finish the game because of a coaching decision over an injury hate to see that.

Trindon Holliday - ?? What's happened to that guy? Our kickoff coverage has been terrible all year (averaging the 35) and I don't know if you guys got past the 30 on one.

Cliff Notes -

LSU excellent Secondary, above average QB (reminds me of pryor), probably the worst pass rush in the SEC.

I hope none of the injuries are serious, but I can't remember a game that had more.

I didn't even consider that possibility until just now. I'm sure it was the injury. He was playing pretty well IMO

The DL is by far the worst part of the team.

Would you say LSU is a legit top 10 team? Maybe top 5? I was trying to rank the teams

1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. Texas
4. LSU
5. Boise State
6. TCU
7. Georgia Tech
8. Cincinnati
9. Pittsburgh
10. Iowa

Something like that. Really I dont think it is far fetched to say LSU is the 4th best team in the country. Assuming JJ is ok.
I could see an argument for TCU maybe, but everyone other team seems like a fraud..

I will chime in about Chad Jones.

Kid has talent, and has the blood to make big plays. The problem now is that he isn't fundamentally sound. He makes too many coverage mistakes.

Give me a Patrick Peterson on both sides, and who needs Safeties, lol.

Dolla is that list with or without SEC refs? I honestly would expect Bama to lose by 17 to Texas with neutral refs.

Did the sideline reporter not say after that first series that Lee was in that JJ was able to return but they were going to go with Lee for the moment? Maybe I'm confusing things.

Objective post IMHO. As far as CJ, he has almost been relegated to a monster-like responsibilities I saw him up close to the LOS instead of playing deep which is really different than last year

As far as Trindon... I rarely see good blocking for him and e is easily arm tackled. That being said, JA was probably the second biggest playmaker from Bama tonight.

nah. texas wouldnt do shite on bamas d. texas struggles a lot in games. the teams they play just cant keep it up the whole game and get tired out from lack of depth on d because they are shitty teams

my thoughts Ridley is a stud and can do stuff I havent seen any of the other backs do. he would be starting if it was me. Peterson is great even when JJ got behind him once he still made the adjustments and knocked the ball away.

I can't imagine JJ was good to go and Miles made the decision to go with Lee. JJ was playing fine by our QB standards this year. He has played alot worse and Miles didn't pull the trigger, so I can't imagine him going with Lee there.

JJ wasn't spectacular, but up to that point was playing a smart game.

you heard correctly but part of what make JJ the better player is his mobility. I think the results would have been the same had he returned with an injured ankle.

I would take Bama over Texas, but that is just my opinion.

As for Ridley, I think alot of people think he is the most talented back out there (not including Shepard as a RB). He was slowed with the injury, but think he has a bright future.
