LSU fake FG for a TD vs SC in '07.. Thank You.

Ok I know you guys are having a rough night tonight, I didn't watch the game today but I here the SEC refs f'd up big time again.


Anyway as you guys may remember the fake FG LSU ran vs SC in 2007 that scored a TD. Now at that time I was pissed off and couldn't stand LSU for running that play and not one of our players being near the kicker when he ran to the endzone.

But! since that fake FG.. 3 teams have tried a fake special teams play (2 FGs and 1 punt) and SC has stopped all 3 of them. Ever since that LSU fake FG our special teams have been in what I would call "prevent" special teams and always on alert and it has saved our arse on more than one occasion.

So as disastrous as that fake FG LSU ran was for SC.. in the long run it has really aided us. So in some way I've got say thanks to LSU.


Anyway, sucks about the SEC refs blowing another call this time at LSUs expense. Im sure LSU will win out and do what SC was unable of doing (beat Arky) and head to a really nice bowl (Capital One Bowl Im sure) Good luck for the rest of the season.
