Would have been even worse had Gibson caught that pass outside the endzone cleanly to begin with or if McCannon doesn't over throw Smelly down the sideline... LSU wrs couldn't get open consistently and when they did... well you know who was their QB...

I said the X factors would be McCarron and Lacy. Another good prediction.

No, our WRs are way better, our QB just sucks and McCarron played a hell of a game. Plus y'all isolated TM7 one on one time after time. Y'all schemed and attacked our weakness and it worked. RR will be playing in the NFL, ODB, Jr will be a stud.

But shouldn't your secondary, which many LSU fans claimed was better than Bama's, have negated any advantage we had at QB?

You can say that but w/o a competent QB on the LSU side, it's your opinion. I still think RR was the best WR on the field...just w/o anyone that could get the ball to him. Good win though.

We have not had good QB play in 4 years. It's amazing we went 13-0 with our 2 QB's. Our defense has carried us the past 2 years. Next year we start fresh with 4 new QB's in the fold with a 2nd year from Coach Krags.
