How can anyone but the money grubbing pussies from the Big 10 and PAC 12 not love that format?? Easy, fair and not drug out....more great knowledge from GD

It would be an immediate improvement on the current system. They could even integrate the BCS formulas into the selection process.
I will be the first to say that the current BCS system is an improvement on what was before, now it is time to make another improvement. Let's start in 2012.

6 team playoff with the 2 top teams being the highest ranked teams that WON their conference Championship games. You MUST win your CCG.
Then take the other 4 top ranked teams and have those teams play each other. The winner of the 2 games go on to play the top 2 seeds. The winner of those go on to the BCSCG.

Meh....I have never been impressed. He and Vern get on my nerves. I will admit that Vern is so unbearable that it makes me dislike GD more than I should. Maybe GD would be ok with out twittle dee dumb shite.

Get a committee together that watches all the games, then come up with the best 6 teams. The top 2 seeds MUST WIN their conference title, thus making the CC games all the more important.
Top 2 seeds get a bye and guaranteed semifinal home game
3 vs 6
4 vs 5
