Because the official had signaled TD, the play can't be reviewed as a fumble in that situation. And the whistle was likely being blown too which also results in dead ball. Both by rule.

And every score is reviewed in the booth. The above is why that play wasn't reviewed on the field as an official review.

Wrong.

Regardless if the official signaled TD and blew a whistle it is still reviewable to see if the ball crossed the goalline.

Referees do not have the power to give TDs to teams before they are scored.

It wouldn't have mattered anyways cuz anyone can see that LSU is far superior to UGA but if that play would have been revieved, the TD would have been waived off. Gary talked to the replay official at half and he said that the TD should have been waived off but they missed it.

BTW, what did Mathieu do in the Bama game? I know LSU won but Mathieu sure didn't contribute to that W. He's good but some of these LSU fans needs to stop trying to compare him to Bama players.

He turned Dre's swag switch to the 'off' position.

From behind! The only way he could do anything against us was get cheapshots. He got owned all game. Don't get me wrong, he's good but Mo Claiborne is alot better. He should be getting more attention than Mathieu IMO.

he is a better coverage corner, which is why he will be playing on sundays next year. this has been determined already. TM7 is a playmaker. nuff said

Do you mean other teams not named Bama has 2 more years of hell from him? He has yet to prove that he can be a playmaker against the second ranked team.

Maze and Hanks abused him. Could you imagine what Julio would do to him?

BTW, I'm just messing with ya before you get too defensive.

Actually, it does. Signaling TD and blowing the whistle would preclude that play from being being reviewed.

But thanks, for calling me Bubba.

Meh, it probably should have been reviewed, but it was just a stupid thing on TM7s part. He had the TD and no one was going to stop him. He was just trying to give the ball to the official.
